YEEZY
Seeing a lot of people name good albums, not classic albums.
classic just means an album I really love
nothing wrong with that at all because I'm guilty of this too but the word has lost all it's meaning
Rodeo is very good but this comparison is wack, album isn’t influential like that & is enveloped in contemporary influences itself nor is it the only album directly influenced by MBDTF maximalist approach, I could say TPAB is the new MBDTF (which would actually be more in line) that’s still would be reductionist, these comparisons are forced because people are bored ☠️
Only The Weeknd

I’m convinced some people need the “classic” thing to really enjoy an album, some of my favorite projects are afterthoughts in artists discographies
just on the topic of Rodeo is f***s me up thinking about it was like basically panned upon the initial release. i don't place that much importance in critics or anything, but its one of the albums which has the biggest gaps in reception between fans and critics i can think of. even big hip hop sites were giving it like a 4-6/10 on release somehow insane in retrospect

Remember when all the "hardcore" Trav fans hated & had a heart attack over Antidote & claimed it ruined Trav n Rodeo & he went "too mainstream" even on KTT1 lol.
I remember.
