  • Was part of my high school’s theatre group for 3 years & applied for a program in film acting but was way too late unfortunately. Never tried again

Being on the stage is an amazing feeling though

    getting that scale

  • Mac Wit Da Cheese

That’s dope man. It could lead to connections for future roles. Once you’ve worked with a production once and it was all smooth they’ll definitely keep you in mind for their next production

yeah never know i think actually taking classes will help me out a lot wrt that but just need to balance that with my job

    Good food I assume

hell yeah they had a chef at lunch with different options hella snack tables with candy and s*** they had donuts and then a couple hours later a carls jr food truck pulled up and we could order whatever we wanted for free. made me realize where all the money in the budget is going lol

  • work get money n produce your own shorts/theatre plays acting is cool but alot of the time you're waiting for work. try to build an infrastructure where you can work on your own time n not at the mercy of getting a role. buy a camera make shorts make budget theatre shows etc. extra/background work is good for small $ £ but wont really help you get any featured roles (talking roles). get together an acting c.v with good headshot (better to pay for a professional headshot than take a selfie) send c.v and headshot to lots of emails casting directors (look them up before see what they've cast before) and agents (check their website see who they have on their books and why you'd fit for them eg. if you a latino male n they have no-one your age/race/ height etc. on their books reference this and say why you would fit their roster) and whenever you perform email again with offer of tickets. getting an agent and being friendly with casting directors will get your foot in the door for auditions especially budgeted productions. always have a backup job that brings in £ so you gt rent etc. covered. enjoy the experience and have a great time

  • A bit. I went to NY Film academy for a summer and did some acting, and some other film crew stuff.

I performed in my first ever play (at least outside of high school) earlier this year. It was a 9 show run at a local community theatre. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had and wish I got into it earlier. Plays have never been my interest (more of a film & tv guy), but I fully intend to do more as long as the role is interesting.

  • i act like everything is okay everyday
