I played one called pokemon uranium, its fun but a lil too difficult just because the levels of enemies jump upwards quickly
Just curious to see if there are any others I should check out
There’s one called Fool’s Gold where they switched the typings of all the Pokémon and gave them new designs. They were either really cool or really goofy which kinda goes with calling it Fools gold
Played crystal clear last year
Makes it an open world game where you can do the gyms in order you want + difficulty is increased
Got far but didn't finish

how was the level balancing? was it too difficult?
Used to play Victory Fire in like 2015
It was def harder, not just combat terms but finding where you had to go next was hard as well, it was quite puzzling.
light platinum
this one looks cool from what i see but it isnt as well documented as uranium
should make for an interesting playthrough, no walkthroughs are fun too

Light platinum is really good. I played a lot of the gba romhacks on my phone but not so much the ones that are made with rpgmaker like Uranium since my phone couldn’t run those.
Some of my favorites are:
Altered Emerald
Pokémon Blazed Glazed
Light Platinum
Pokémon Gaia(unfinished but feels like an actual Pokémon game through gym 8)
Pokémon Rocket edition (HIGHLY recommended it’s very unique and high quality)
Pokémon flora sky
Played 2 or 3 but I don’t even remember the names anymore

Didn't find it that bad
It's decent but it doesn't really have a story, I've heard there are better hacks for crystal (polished crystal) but depends on what you want
Blaze Black and Volt White are fire because they kind of keep the same structure of the game but amp up the difficulty to something that's actually fun. The level curve is perfect as well imo.

I think it’s like gold/silver where u do Johto then Kanto

Enhancement hacks is where it's at
Renegade platinum will be the best game you've ever played believe it

If you really fw the originals then rocket edition is insane. But if you want a classic experience can’t go wrong with light platinum

Ash Gray the only one I played. Really enjoyed it because I was watching the first 2 seasons of the show around that time

Wow.
This is crazy. I used to know the guy that made Uranium. We would talk quite a bit about what we were working on.
It’s not a ROM Hack. It was made in RPG Maker. Back in the day on PokeCommunity we made a lot of fan games using Pokemon Essentials.
I still remember those days on the forum in the showcase sections. A lot of cool projects were being made.
