I have a Canon ae-1 program
I'm satisfied with results, tho I'm not much experienced
Recently just got it serviced and cleaned.
got 2 original mju's and 1 mju2 and ain't pay more than €20 for all of them together
Where do you develop your film? Just some local shop?
Back when I was in school I used to just use there darkroom
Now I bought batteries after like five years for my canon and wanna get back into film but I’m not trying to pay a lot per roll
i wish film wasn't so expensive man, i wanna get a super 8 camera for the summer
super 8 not worth it id cop either the cassette camcorders or the a y2k camcorders

I've been developing my own film for some years now, my equipment has been growing quite a bit over time and now i have a good setup with temperature control if needed and automatic agitation.
also got an enlarger/ actual darkroom recently
i don't like posting online so making prints really is the final destination

That sounds like heaven
Olympus xa and xa2 are goat film cameras, but I got mine years ago, might be expensive af now
tbh your best bet would be anything that you can find at the thrift, it really don't matter what it is on 35mm, a yashica T4, mju 2 and contax T~ are nice and all but in no way worth their price for me.
If u are looking fro some direction when buying i'd keep an eye out for any olympus zoom, and tbh, the original mju is really good, it goes fro €50~100 here and i prefer it to my mju 2
Other than that i think the olympus XA/ XA2 is the best you can get for the price (if you dont care about flash) the manual focus and aperture priority on the original XA is just very rare in any point and shoot tbh, especially at that price, and then it's a rangefinder too so it gives the most control for any compact camera
But if it's not full control you are looking for and u just trynna take some pics of your friends with a flash, then yeah anything will do it really dont matter, the higher up you go in price usually just means the camera gets a tiny bit smaller and the aperture a little bit wider, s*** dont matter.
I actually have the special flash unit they made for the XA, I've never used it once and it just sits in my desk

yeah they are nice, i've got one too. it makes it so the XA's can really do it all but for me personally it makes them a bit too bulky and the flash is slow to recharge. If im in need of a p&s with flash for parties or something i'll just gravitate to a different one i own, but for someone who only wants one camera the flashes are really good
