m FREE PALESTINE xThe way I see it, there's not 150 million progressives in this country, so we're never gonna get progressive laws passed without having a coalition. You need progressive ppl, liberals, moderates, etc. to support each other instead tearing each other down. I support pretty much everybody that's to the left of me

Like do you think Obama could have talked about supporting trans rights in 2008? Only until Bernies 2016 run did the Third Way dems start to face real pressure

Idk what's hard to understand about this; liberals do not make coalitions with those to their left. They actively oppose them. This whole idea about democracy is a sham too. It assumes every voter is 100% educated and not subject to media propaganda. How tf is it a democracy when the major liberal news outlets went on air and lied about Bernie and his policies from day 1?

even if we had direct democracy where every single person would vote, and people voted NOT to abolish prison and the military, you would still reject it

Sanders and AOC still do their jobs faithfully even when they didn't get what they wanted, even for people that didn't vote for them, because their end goal is awlays to help people. That's why they're good leaders
