putting a low time to kill in a battle royale makes no sense

i remember having a blue or white shield was basically considered pointless and now they literally said okay lets make that the meta
and the devotion as a weapon drop is wild lmao was this a joke

y’all some cry babies lmfaooo i’m playing as well as ever, lower ttk takes some time to adjust to but it’s not nearly as bad as y’all making it out to be

i like this better than mf Gibraltar and Caustic taking 100 shots to down

I'm enjoying it still but this ttk change feels like something they did to appeal to the Warzone crowd. New ttk changes made it hella easy to get double digit kill games back to back too.

Also them taking the devotion outta the care package without a nerf is weird as f*** considering how they did it right with taking the Mastiff outta carepackage and nerfing it properly.

Getting sick and tired of not having energy ammo because everybody stockpiling

I’m still doing good, but when you/your teammates get killed in less than a sec by a devo/volt it just gets tiring.

Everyone is just running around with an energy weapon because it’s OP just like when the charge rifle came out. The idea of lower shields to promote better positioning is negated by the fact that there are bugs like silent footsteps/silent devo, and the increase in sniper mags.

Its f***ing abysmal.

Volt at close range is worse than the R99. It's completely ripping players within seconds.

every pro is hating this season what are you talking about. the argument of “get good” doesn’t make sense when everyone is just waiting to third party now or bunkering up since pushing and aggressive play styles is being punished now

So the Volt is now confirmed better than the R99 at accuracy and able to kill a player with 1 clip at range.

It wouldn’t be all that bad if they didn’t decide to buff weapons while lowering the time to kill someone

I feel like the only people who like the new TTK are the ones who suck or don't really even be playing this game

not to be an elitist and I sympathize with how the devs want more people to consistently play apex but the changes they introduced in the new season are questionable and make the game feel too similar to something like COD

People being able to get their shield to purple within the first few minutes of a highly dropped location.
