Apple intelligence features finally rolling out and they’re behind a waitlist still
most ai services start with betas/limited releases. Need to have the training data to be able to release it at mass.
them being 'late' on it was purely a push for their marketting team to join the race long before it was ready, and convince people to buy new hardware that would support it
didn't even notice they're coming out with 16GB RAM minimum now
used market bout to go way down

Makes sense I just figured that since they did the waitlists and everything with the iOS betas that it wouldn't be needed for official release
I got through in about an hour so not a big hassle but I imagine it will get longer as more people update

Very suprised i havent gotten any calls about it yet, doing apple support as we speak
It was pretty obvious this s*** wasn't gonna take off. People barely remember it exists
They need to make it smaller and more affordable.
They also need to advertise it more.

All my employees have windows laptops and I've been running a custom pc for my office. I had a macbook air m chip. I was using my employees windows laptop today and it just sucked compared to my macbook, and the thing cost $1300 too.
I just traded in my macbook air and I am buying a macbook pro Max chip with 128gb ram. Ditching my desktop and running parallels for windows apps I need for for. Can't wait for my MBP to come in.
I will trade in my Windows 7 PC (2012) for a Macpro Pro M4 Pro. That will be an insane feeling.

You should. Apple Silicon Macs are incredible
The new Mac mini and iMac both look so nice but I don't wanna get rid of my MBP or manage two Macs
