Try swiping apps out of the switcher in low power mode on any device and the frames just drop its insane

Yes that’s the point of low power mode … it drops frame rate to save you battery …

I get it disables ProMotion but if you compare it to the animation of you scrolling through the open apps or even the apps around the one you’re swiping away repositioning it’s sub-30fps at a minimum

U can turn off low power mode, but it's nice tho if u have no battery and trying to make the phone last as long as possible

17 pro ( up graded from 16 pro max ) tbh is way better
Not bulky somehow feels 20x faster … love the compact feel and I like th bump on the camera for some reason

Am due for an upgrade in June and not sure if I should just get the 17 Pro or wait for the 18 Pro in the Fall.

Anyone have any thoughts on if it will be a big enough improvement to wait?

it'll be the same price so imo it'd be better to just wait for the 18. 18 will have variable aperture cameras which will be a first and provide a pretty good upgrade over the 17 pro's cameras.

On a technicality it's not an Apple Event, it's an in-person "Experience" on March 4th and there's presumably no keynote accompanying it. Rumor is that products will get announced via press releases the Mon/Tues/Wed leading up to the 'experience' and then folks will get to use them in person there
