I get that Apple wants to corner every hardware market they can, and that there is 'a market' for this, but the HomeView even by niche standards, feels awkward in 2026.
To be fair, I feel that way about the entire smart home genre in general.

If we have smartphones, tables, and portable laptops, along with echoes and HomePods, I just fail to see enough people purchasing. Idk.

if someone is interested in something like the HomeView, they already have an iPhone, a MacBook, an Apple Watch, and a HomePod, and probably an iPad too.

I still use my shield every day. It's amazing. Nuvio for movies/shows, tizentube for youtube without ads, tivimate for iptv
