Might just get the screen on my 8 Plus fixed and hold off
I like these but its missing something, probably 120hz
Going to get the Mini or the Pro Max lol. No in between. I currently have an XR. I want a size that’s really different from it.
I'm hella glad I got the iphone X when it came out, was really the best time to upgrade. Was gonna upgrade this year but I think i'm gonna wait another year

how's your battery health holding up?

It's interesting how they're keeping the iPhone 11 and the XR in the lineup, I thought for sure they would get rid of one of them with the 12 release
My hunch is that they probably want to have iPhones to cover as many price points as possible, as a means to guarantee sales from current and future customers
Imagine having just one credit card tho
Couldn't be me
I mean there's nfc. still thought they had 2 pockets or something

keeping that XR in the line up? strange

Not really.
Samsung/Android literally has a phone for every price point and with mid-range or low-end phones that have some bigger batteries and some with 90 and 120 hz refresh rate.
Y'all gotta stop slobbing on Apple so much

That XR been they best selling phone for like the past two years right? Gotta milk that a little more playboy

yeah, think iPhone 11 overtook it though
techspot.com/news/85384-iphone-11-sales-surpassed-iphone-xr-q1-2020.html
but I'm not surprised they're keeping the XR in their rotaion now that I think about it
The SE 2, despite having a newer chipset than the XR, is associated with having a 'dated' design, which makes the XR seem more valuable to the average customer, despite having older specs
Considering that the XR sold like a mf (and is probably still selling well) Apple is making a killing by selling phones with older processors at a an inflated price
Not really.

So you don't care if your new $1200 phone has faster internet capabilities? Do you just buy products when Apple tells you to?

im not even sure 5g mmwave even exists in my country atm, so no atm i dont care about 5g
i will in the future tho, but atm my wifi (which im using most of the times bc of the pandemic) and 4g are more than enough
the difference between 3g and 4g was way more noticable in the day to day usage compared to 4g and 5g (non mmwave)
5g will become huge in the future, but atm its not important for me no
I like to stay on the same phone for 4-5years, is the 12Pro more future proof than the regular 12?
