be careful with the 12/12 pro's
Folks already said the screen scratching too.
Just got an iPhone SE as my first iPhone
Only 1 timer???
Return that s*** and get a regular one
Battery and speed have been so good on my 12. My X could barely last me all day this past year.
Return that s*** and get a regular one
Nah bruh I don't even want a phone. Only reason I bought this is so I can use it to set up an Apple Watch
And spending more won't get me more timers
gonna upgrade from my 2017 13 in macbook pro to a current one bc my uni gave me money for it
should i wait for the rumored silicon event or just get one?

u think it’s really worth upgrading? I have a 2016 and see no reason to upgrade for another 2-3 years

my uni requires a receipt and they gave me the money to upgrade and i’ll only be paying like $300 extra out of pocket so it’s just like why not

that’s fire
that’s fire
so i’m just wondering if getting that first generation ARM is worth the wait and how people think it’ll be
Coming from the very first IPad Air, the new one is such a great update, the laminated LCD Display alone is worth the money.

wait for event, they will probably aggressively begin phasing out their x86 line up in favour of ARM, good to future proof your machine

yea but they’re still gonna be putting out new x86’s and they’ll be supported for like at least 5 more years. and from what i’ve read most of the problems that would arise from ARM would be hardware so wouldn’t i just upgrade now and then get an ARM macbook in 4 years or so

totally get your point, makes sense, you just have to be prepared when it comes to apple cos when they push a new idea hard, they push it hard, don’t get left behind. having said that, since this is a monumental change, they may not go as hard as they do with other things, but you never know with apple
Why apple email me saying the phone gonna come today and I look on UPS and it says its in zenghou china right now

You got that rapid time travel 1/2 day quick air fam. Nice!
I hear that s*** costs $276 extra tho
That Blue 12 in person looks so beautiful. The pictures made the color look so cheap but it looks perfect in person.
In a series of bullet points at the end of the document, Apple warns buyers of iPhone 12 series phones that MagSafe can:
Increase heat build up and restrict charging, saying if your iPhone battery gets “too warm” charging will be limited to 80% capacity.
Damage the magnetic strips and RFID chips in credit cards, security badges, passports and key fobs if they come between the back of your iPhone and the MagSafe charger. Apple sells a MagSafe Wallet, so be very careful.
Damage leather cases used with the charger by leaving “circular imprints”. Similar damage to silicon cases has also been reported after just a few days, so questions must also be asked about what this will do to the glass backs of case-less iPhone 12 models over time.
man i f***ing hate the camera on my XS but financially it makes little to no sense for me to spend 900 to upgrade to the 12 pro just for the camera among other things

So no MagSafe then
Bet
I really want the iPhone mini but I love my XS
I have had it since it came out in 2018 and I wanna keep it for another two years but the 12 mini is so tempting
