Got the new MacBook M1 today (my first ever Mac) and its easily the snappiest and quickest laptop I've ever had. no clue how I ever lived without this.

I'm in disbelief. Coming from Windows laptops that always felt like a chore to use this is like a dream.

Even things such as browsing the internet seems faster whereas on my Windows Laptops, it was always slow or id always find small issues with Windows itself that made it frustrating to use.

I still like Windows and its customizability but thus far MacOS just feels right and is much more simple.

Only downsides are USB-C ports (and there only being two) and not being able to add storage but I can always pick up an External Drive.

thinking about buying the M1 Macbook Pro, but heard there is a 14" coming out. Should I just buy it now or wait? All these reviewers are also saying to wait until the M2 which is deterring me from buying anything lol

  • Went from a iPhone 6 to a iPhone 12 se this week. didn’t get a SIM card key and I tried to use many different tools. Nothing fit . I had to order some sim keys. Apple couldn’t spring for sim key? Apple why did you do that? It said sim key included. 😳

I thought about shaving a paper clip but I’ll wait. 😒

IMO, buy the computer that you need when you need it. There’s literally always something subjectively better waiting around the corner, ALWAYS. Also don’t forget, reviews exist to sell you on things. My M1(Mac mini) hasn’t had any problems. May they occur? I still have a warranty for at least the next year. I’d say pull the trigger if you’re in need. But wait if you can.

True that, I'm still rocking with my Air from 2013. It works perfectly fine, just that the battery is s*** and it has no more memory left. Not sure if that justifies in getting a new one right now or holding on for a little more.

Whichever computer you decide to buy is going to be a significant improvement on what you have at the moment. My entry level M1 Mac mini runs circles around my maxed out Mac mini 2018. F***ing Magic. Compatibility is the biggest factor to consider right now.

iPhone X got the black screen of death, everything but the screen works. Just dropped $700 for the 12 and will be here Thursday. Im actually hella mad because I never planned to upgrade my phone for at least one more year but now im forced to. Getting it repaired would have cost $380 and at that point I might as well put that towards a new device.
