You think they'll stop making the "Mini" version of the iPhones? I am thinking more like by the time the iPhone 15 is out so will they maybe stop making the "Mini" version of every iPhone which sucks... But yeah if it keeps having bad sales then I guess it's sadly time to stop making one every time they do release some new iPhones
@peduxe Yeah apparently no notch famo
They may stop making "Mini" versions, but they'll keep the SE and cheaper versions just to keep that frugal-minded customer base.
I currently have the 11 and I really wanted to upgrade with the 13 but idk its worth it
anyone able to tell if I just should? like im just being mad indecisive about cause I dont wanna look at next years iPhone with my 13 thinking I coulda just waited another year. I was planning on the 13 Pro Max
Why do my orders keep getting cancelled? I order on apple website, says processing and next days its cancelled?
I called apple mfers say their system cancels it when the address and everything matches annoying af
When is iOS 15 releasing? Was it tomorrow
Releases today, in about 5 hours
Got that shipped email from Verizon for the iPhone 13 pro max anticipation is real

I get the hype behind new iPhones but the jump from 11 to 13 is 100% not worth it not only because the phone is not that much better but also because switching phones every two years is wasteful and not green
I hope people soon realize that:
modern phones are so amazing that their tech can last for YEARS without feeling old. We're not moving as fast now as we were between iPhone 3 and iPhone 5.
apple stopped making groundbreaking changes to their phones so unless you're an iPhone 8 (and below) user or and Android user there's no point in really upgrading
Apple is great when it comes to supporting their previous iPhones and from what I've heard even iPhone 6s will get IOS15 so your iPhone 11 won't be any different software wise than the 13
So ask yourself a question: Why do you want the new iPhone? To have the same phone but with square edges?
I know I'll buy the 13 bc I'm an Android user and I hope to take good care of my 13 Mini and I hope it lasts me at least till 2026 (my current Android phone is already out of support bc Samsung sucks in that. But with Apple I know my phone will still be up-to-date even after 5 years)
And I hope more people go with this approach.
So since you already have the 11 just wait at least 2 more years there's no point in spending all that money to upgrade from a phone that's still perfect as it is

Realized this and only traded in my 12 for a 13 due to the carrier promotion and essentially got the phone for free. Left the upgrade program which i joined last year it’s just not worth. No reason to stan a company to that degree where i’m giving my money every year for a new phone that doesnt even do anything much more impressive than the last. Gonna take good care of this one and keep it hopefully for 3-4 years

Good for you man
Taking care of your phones and using them for years should be the new wave instead of flexing new phones every year just because you can
Apple tries to be more green and I 100% support it but I just hope someone up there realizes that for the good of anyone it might be better to release a new phone once every two years instead of new phone every 12 months

i've had my current phone for almost 5 years, absolutely nothing wrong with it
every time i think about getting a new phone i ask myself, is it really going to change my life in any substantial way?

You're an iPhone owner right?
It's super interesting to me that Apple makes such good phones and they support them till they literally stop working and people still go out of their way every year to buy new phones
Samsung stops upgrading their phones after two years and it sucks ass.
But Apple releases an amazing phone and they support it for ages.
My siss is using an iPhone 6s and just now she's thinking about buying the 13. I have friends who were using the 7 till like last years.
Anyone who buys an iPhone this year or bought an iPhone in last two years should invest the money, they wanted to spend on a 13, into a new case and a protective glass and focus on keeping that phone in good condition because if you don't kill those phones yourself (dropping them, breaking things) these phones will last EASILY for 4+ years

It really should be every 2 years you’re totally right. They would have more impressive upgrades that way too. This year was a real

Acutally nah android phone since 2009, only iOS devices i've ever had is 2nd iPod Touch and a 2020 iPad Pro. Pixel 2XL daily driver 4-5 years now.
But I definitley agree, the investment into a new phone these days is so much these days, is it wise to even upgrade every two years?
A $1000+ investment for 2 years use is a poor return imho, I want to use that s*** until it falls apart or the battery degrades so much, it's unusable. I paid £750 for my phone i want that s*** to last longer 2 years!
My dad had a 6s since release and only just got the 12 last december, and I doubt he'll upgrade for another 6 years

that's not what they're saying lol. They're saying you shouldn't upgrade til your phone actually starts dying and you 'need' a new one.
the two year upgrade stuff is either cause they aren't paying much or anything, or materialism/consumerism. There's other reasons too.
Imo this is the first worth iPhone since the X, 11 and 12 were pretty mid upgrades. Unless you meant "shouldn't" lmao
Only reason to upgrade every year is if you significantly value the camera system (which I personally do)
You ain't been running it since DB1?
never use betas
cause im alpha
haha
no but i only got betas on my work phone for app development

Fair enough yeah DB1 basically bricked my iPad until I DFU'd it lmao. But DB2 and on been exceptionally stable tbh
