undecided between 16inch M1 Max 512GB - 32GB RAM or 16inch M1 Pro 1TB - 32GB RAM.

I definitely don't need 1TB because I carry external SSDs all the time for VSTs, drumkits, VSTs' sound libraries, videography and After Effects but I see 512 is already very limiting on my current MBP and need to delete downloads and files constantly.

Might just save and get more external storage.

yes all SSDs begin to slow around 70%, 80% is slightly worse and 90% becomes terrible

PS5s SSD is crazy fast though and no games really use the full speed of it so I wouldn't be too worried now but it could hurt performance on next Gen games
