VibeTheir last major update was the iPhone X with no home button for sure and that was 5 years ago. Opened up so much screen real estate. Pretty crazy.
Outside of battery upgrades and insane 240HZ screens I don't really see much of what they can improve on. The action button just seems like they'ew bored at this point but I get it. Adds more customization. It just seems like they keep trying to improve something that has already been pushed so far
continued integrations within their own ecosystem, namely vision pro (if it ever catches on), would seem to me like where the “innovation” would come from

Is this area distracting at all? Feel like i'm just nitpicking and won't even notice it after upgrading. The notch is seamless af though. Haven't really seen much uses for the dynamic island that are make or break for me

Yes lol, it’s so weird to me that for a split second you can see your photo without the processing, but there’s no way to access that raw (afaik)

Yes except for USB-C, and you only get upgraded transfer speeds on the pro models
This was really just a price drop event

Not really, your eyes ignore it pretty fast and if you run dark mode, it’s nearly invisible, I really like the animation s and integration it creates

But for standard users i'm not sure
A cool feature is that you can charge your airpods case with your phone now though

You can plug your phone in to your airpods case and it can start charging it. I can see that actually being really useful at the gym or on the go
But of course you have to buy a new model
