even the 24 core threadripper has a 280 watt tdp that would be one thick ass macbook

not saying it's impossible, hell I'm sure someone will make a laptop with a threadripper at some point but I don't see apple going that way

Nah it's impossible for Apple. They pride themselves on having thin laptops and the high-end Core i9 Macbooks already f***ing cook themselves to death.

With a Threadripper in there that s*** would implode lmao.

Also I doubt anyone is gonna make a laptop board for Threadripper, if they did I would be surprised tbh.

Nah Apple Arm cpu is next.

Apple is making they own chip end of 2020 or 21 bet on it.

Only thing Apple don’t control yet is they laptop and desktop cpu and its game over

My 2015 pro can be so noisy. With time I got to know my laptop and now I manage it just fine so it's overheating too often but it's still annoying to keep myself from doing too much. I'm a big power user too so I just end up closing things all the time if I want so peace and quiet.

    3358 battery cycles right now

But it was my first macbook so I didn't know what I needed until I got to use it a bit. Now I'm ready to pick the right specs for my 16 inch.

God damn. My 2012 only has 600 cycles. lol.
