Not his best album
His most original album so its his best to me
AML was good musically but didn’t have his personality in it
The editors who write those descriptions for albums
Adele's new album got like 5 paragraphs
sometimes they do this thing where an artist talks about songs track by track in place of a review. it's cool, even tho I never read those
well I didn’t mean they’re lame for the Eminem thing, I mean they’re lame for arbitrarily picking albums and calling them “””essential”””
That's true
Usually it's some very safe s*** in the reviews
They'll never say "this song is bad" or whatever it's always "Adele's brave self portrait encapsulated in a masterful record"
Yeah it's not exactly a review rather a description. They gotta stay neutral

True but I don't really understand who these reviews are for
Some other mind boggling misses:
Kanye doesn't have Yeezus in essentials
Charles Mingus - no Ah Um in essentials
no Ah Um is so crazy tbh. and they changed that s*** recently too, but still didn't add Ah Um
BTI defined an entire decade but I know this isn't the place for that type of talk
the f*** you smoking
So Far Gone
Take Care
Nothing Was The Same
IYRTITL
Views all essentials
Future and Cole need more tho
I feel like SFG is a reach. It aged pretty badly

I would imagine they'd have to make it appealing to people, so can't give projects too much hate. although ive seen some spice a few times, can't remember off the top of my head but will update if I think of something
Dylan washing
you LOVE to see it and thats without Nashville Skyline and John Wesley Harding, too

Bob really dropped like 6-7 classics in the 60s. s*** was really unprecedented before the Beatles got in their bag.

and he still managed to write a whole lot of classics even without pills and s***
I’m sorry if that mid defined your decade
yeah ok one of the most diverse albums of the last decade, one of the biggest "internet" records isn't good or influential...
telegraph ave out now
3005 out now
life the biggest troll out now
pink toes out now
whole album out now
Usually it's some very safe s*** in the reviews
They'll never say "this song is bad" or whatever it's always "Adele's brave self portrait encapsulated in a masterful record"
goddamn i hate streaming service album/artist descriptions for this exact reason. they rarely ever tell you much about the album, they just cycle through the same handful of grandiose platitudes for each description
i think every artist should have 1 essential album
essential to really get into them or a classic for their culture
no Ah Um is so crazy tbh. and they changed that s*** recently too, but still didn't add Ah Um
Yeah they do mess up sometimes, but overall I would say it's really good and helpful. I usually look up essentials on AM when I discover new artist since I use AM too and most of the times it turns out to be right on

every artist!?
