remember when airpods max were considered niche and ridiculously expensive that first year and now they’re literally everywhere?

remember the memes on the OG airpods?

remember how much people hated on a watch where you could “just pull your phone out to do the same thing?”

remember when people said “why would I want a bigger version of what my iPhone already does” when the iPad was announced

Meta, Google, Samsung, whoever could release a $300 version of this with 2 times better specs and we would get nowhere. People underestimate how many people will try this and eventually buy just bc of Apple’s branding and legacy. This will be the catalyst for mass AR adoption. 10 years from now, we might even see these become as small as a pair of glasses. In the next few years, I can see this being a disruptor in the traditional desktop computer space, but AR will dominate and eventually overtake the mobile industry by the 30’s

Imagine a future where 3D modelers, architects, graphic designers, and more are able to construct their designs in front of their eyes, with their fingertips. Pinch and move your fingers to stretch and extrude vertices. Scroll through colors and textures on a workbench that isn’t really there. Have your coworkers walk over and collaborate on the design with you. A new standard in design across several professions.

Imagine on Halloween, you transform your home into a haunted house with a kind of gore, jump scares, and iconic horror music in an experience that would cost thousands to create physically..but now all you need is an app on your Vision Pro for $9.99. And everyone else with a headset can walk through and experience your creation. A virtual fireworks show. Virtual Jenga. Gaming whenever, wherever on a huge screen that everyone can see. No need for a TV. You’re racing Mario Kart against your friends in the back of a pickup truck in the Canes parking lot, and the screen is the size of a drive-in theatre. A new standard in social entertainment.

VR & AR are coming..eventually everyone will have a headset and you’ll be behind the curve if you don’t..
