To be alive encompasses unparalleled wonder, but also endless suffering.

I love being alive and experiencing the beauty of nature inherent in our world. And I genuinely love people - not only those dear to me, but even strangers. In this cold and indifferent universe, love IS real, and humans are capable of so many wonderful things.

Yet this world contains so much suffering, and it is impossible to escape from it. It is increasingly difficult to manage my feelings when I am confronted with the disadvantages of others. I do what I can to have a positive impact where I can, but man... sometimes it's really unbearable. And all I can do is feel overwhelmed with sadness, break down and cry.

Tl:dr we must be the best we can be, but we must also accept the sadness of our condition.
