guys arguably made one of the greatest trilogies in modern music history, then reflektor happened and while i personally loved the album some fans saw it as the beginning of the end. and then they really began to fall off when everything now happened. hopefully they’ll bounce back on the next album tho
The rollout for the album that kinda sunk them was historically bad, still funny to think about
I havent heard a full album but My Body Is A Cage is one of the greatest songs OAT

yeah that rollout was so bad but lowkey hilarious
Everything now is underrated for sure. Probably their worst but still a quality album. Seeing them live really helped, the songs were a lot of fun then.
I don't know why everyone stopped liking Arcade Fire because of one miss. Reflektor is good too. Arguably the best rock band of the 21st century besides maybe Broken Social Scene.

Vampire Weekend
I like a few of their songs but they've never totally clicked for me. The Suburbs is a fantastic song tho

discog wise I would still put the up there
the three album run can't ever be taken away from them
Vampire Weekend
I have been trying to get into their albums, but only Modern Vampires clicked with me. That's definitely a classic record.
They did like Queens of the Stone Age and thought, “Hm, who should produce our ‘dance’ record? I know! A middle-aged white guy!”
LDA is prolly 2018 aoty, but def not close to the best band
Cap
They have a way more consistent disog than Arcade Fire, never missed and had more influence
