AF got a lot of influence too. And MGMT is definitely a very consistent band.. no shot, it's just that they never made that kind of masterpiece... feel me?

That’s cap to me tbh their first 2 albums are masterpieces , Im not even saying AF isnt up there I shoulda clarified that earlier I just wanna make sure MGMT get they flowers in the convo

people really give artists and bands one chance in their minds sometimes. it's wack fans. real fans know that their faves might have a miss sometimes but they'll always have the potential to make music even greater than what they once did

I think Arcade Fire influenced a lot of bad music (Imagine Dragons, Mumford and Sons, Whatever large scale band that wanted to do that group sing type vibe) so that isn't really the best legacy lol

Respect. They definitely deserve to be in the convo. LDA is my favourite to put on though, and probably their closest to a masterpiece IMO.

I mean most people will give them Funeral for sure, but Neon Bible has been my favorite AF album for quite some time now so having that one two punch like that is crazy to me
