Bro left the hottest girl in the story because Viktor got sick. Abandoned his entire life to return to the lab and save him. And then Viktor himself even pointed out how it was only affection that held them together.

Dont forget dystopian future Viktor even goes back in time to save Jayce because he is the only that could reach last ep Viktor and show him the flaws. Setting off the entire butterfly effect is literally Jesus Viktor needing Jayce in the picture to stop him.

I think its cool it is completely non sexual especially cause we got this w**** Caitlyn giving us enough of that. but it definitely is romantic. Like their affection to each other is a primary plotpoint in the end. Just happens to be two dudes.

I think its a shame the McGuffin turned so important. I think Zaun vs Piltover was more compelling but you cant be too mad because stuff like Ep 7 and 9 was still incredible
