They'll probably speed things up, considering how popular this show got, but still, gonna be a while before we see S2

well that reason for 6 years is building the assets and story. Everything after that speeds up production. So 3 years max for a second season

Besides anime

not at all, the only prior knowledge you can bring with you is a familiarity with the region and characters that are plucked from the game. Arcane is a completely original story, with very very minor winks and nods to deeper cuts of the written lore.

It also puts a lot of effort into introducing LoL characters to a brand new audience, as well as doing an excellent job in bringing new things to their backstory and motivations for those who've known these characters for years. In fact, some might even argue that the most compelling characters are the ones introduced in the show that even fans of the game have never heard of.

Either way, I highly recommend getting into it, especially as Riot expands their game library to include those who want to immerse themselves in the world of Runeterra, even if they don't give a s*** about League of Legends

Binged from episode 5. Nah this was fantastic, what a show. Everything I was hoping for two episodes in was met in the rest and more. Ended up loving every character. That bridge scene was the animators showing off honestly

Why is Imagine Basura getting plugged so heavy in this show tho

I guess imagine dragons has a history of making songs for league

I think there songs work good in the show tho

As far as the music goes, it was cool, didn't mind it. The one time it took me out of the show was when they literally had the band animated into an episode during one of the montages, like was that necessary
