Fair but I feel like every single mainstream outerwear brand right now comes with a "hypebeast/hipster" preconception attached (TNF, Stone Island, Canada Goose, Patagonia, etc.)

Definitely, for me I was wearing TNF and Patagonia since yay high, so that was nothing new. I just don’t like jumping on brands that I normally wouldn’t look at.
Like yea Gucci, supreme, etc. is all hyped but it’s not anything I haven’t been looking at since I started dressing myself, if that makes sense.
