Hearing mirror ball for the first time, I can't believe you guys have been listening to this for weeks, this is such a good album opener wtf

It's fantastic. Only song I didn't immedately like was I Ain't Quite. This is already a different sound from TBHC, it's fascinating to see these guys grow.

The instrumentation here might be my favorite they've ever had

How does this compare to the rest of their discog yall? I must admit i'm still a huge fan of AM even though i feel like their fanbase dismisses that album bc it got all the commercial succes

I just really dig the melodies and layered high pitched vocals on there. Gives it such a cool vibe

Hotel base & casino was cool, i liked what they were going for but aside from a few tracks, i don't really see myself revisiting it like i did with some of their other work

This sounds more like coherent version of their previous album. I didn’t really like their last album there was some songs that were cool. This album seems like they went full on out with the ballads type of songs which is cool. My only thing is Alex turner song writing. To me it just seems like he just writes one liners and connects them into a verse.

yeah he’s a massive instagram caption type writer but i’m absolutely okay with that

songwriting is unique fr though

i'll be like "What the f*** is he even talking about right now" half the time
