The 2010s is not the 2020s. I think the internet age means rappers (musicians) feel like they'll never be outdated like 80s -> 90s, 90s -> 00s, 00s -> 10s
Never heard someone acknowledge they are a 2010s rapper like someone would for the previous decades
who’s someone that didn’t already fall off years ago that is outdated now
snoop Ross chainz Hov never called themselves 90’s/2000’s rappers until like 20 years later lol (if they ever did at all)
Aren’t most of them also refusing to release music? Where would they say this, on the box for a phone with no internet, or on a Calvin Klein underwear ad?
Do you want rich the kid to put “2010s rapper” in his twitter bio ? I don’t get it
& was Wayne calling himself a “00s artist” in 2013? I feel crazy trying to understand the premise

Well yeah I mean his musical orbit centers around the relevance of the Balenciaga dad shoes
Only when they start falling off when we will refer to them as 2010 rappers. Majority of 2010 rappers are still relevant and influential rn
Well yeah I mean his musical orbit centers around the relevance of the Balenciaga dad shoes
So does most of the rappers who wear them ?
Is lucki summrs kankan or Yeat a 2010’s rapper lol
I don’t think a lot of these artists think of themselves as 20XX artists. They just create for themselves and their popularity rises and falls. It’s not so much the need to bleed into the 2020s. They already have more money than they know what to do with, they’re just continuing to create like they have since they were kids.
I mean...I don't remember anyone calling Wayne, Eminem, Kanye, or Lupe "2000's rappers."
Jay-Z was never really pigeonholed as a 90's rapper either.

Eminem definitely should have that label though.
Ion think it's that deep. "Two thousand tens" or "twenty tens" just doesn't really have a ring to it and sounds kinda weird. "Eighties" "Nineties" and "Two thousands" sounds way more natural and defining
Again this s*** ain’t black and white. Rick Ross rapped in the 00’s and the 10’s sure you’ll prob gravitate to calling him a 2010’s rapper but that’s cuz he had more output then. It just seems trivial
Eminem definitely should have that label though.
Recovery is literally the best selling rap album of the 2010's.
Eminem definitely should have that label though.
Eminem stopped being a good listen in like 2005
Like what would u consider Nas?
The height of his career was the 90s/00s with the Jay beef. That's his era even though he's put out quality projects since. Nothing has recaptured that peak
Eminem stopped being a good listen in like 2005
Shut the f*** up b**** I bump rap god everyday while I look in the mirror and brush my pearly whites
