I had two big ones for me today alone, QOTSA and Radio free alice..I doubt much of my taste aligns with KTT though

but there's something about that widely anticipated event level album that we used to get a few times a year that we'd just live with for months once we finally got it.

The Tinashe album that everyone is championing right now was announced 2 months ahead, and hyped/anticipated for even longer.

If the music doesn't appear to be sticking around for months after release like it used to, well yeah, so it goes. But there are "big" albums on the schedule every year that get the lead time you're looking for. Trust me, I pay attention. Lol
