Thats a crazy sub, no wonder Peggy got so mad. Had no clue where that beef stemmed from

It stemmed from Peggy giving Elucid/AM a beat then taking it back in an (allegedly) snaky way by getting lawyers involved, then Elucid cooked him on Leopard, and Peggy retaliated on LP2

But yeah I’m sure that s*** definitely stung lol, thats how you know he was in the wrong; cuz if somebody called me an “attitude-doesn’t-reflect-his-actions type b****” at the aaaaabsolute very least I’m not gonna work with them again

  • They call this man peggy
    Why are you surprised lmao

he was always overrated with a cringe ass fanbase 🤷🏾‍♂️

he created a fanbase about calling out s***ty behavior of stars, it was like his entire thing for years

I get the problem, but he legit made this cringe fanbase all on his own accord on purpose lmao

Im not even a big peg fan but the switch up is pretty wack. idk how anyone could stan him based off his discog though

I mean I think it's alright and everything, hes not bad, but I dont get how people are out here with him on their wrapped or just re-listening to all his albums like that. And I did listen to scaring the hoes a ton last year too

ok my bad im not trying to be rude lol

I was mainly trying to point to how he purposefully created this fanbase and its just a mirror of his career until recently

my final take on this: everyone is flawed and i will continue being myself :)

That’s the wrong takeaway. You are wrong and should feel shame.

    This is true.

  • Completely agree, I’m glad they patched it up because he did really great work on WBDTS; I’d expect nothing less for the next one

I’m a huge Peggy fan but this is just the noname situation all over again where you’re kinda just reaping the fanbase you sowed your entire career

yet why are vocal fanbases only present when a black artist does something a majority white fanbase doesn’t like?

Most people aren't self aware enough to realize that humans contradict themselves on a daily basis. It's natural to want to do something for your selfish desires (in this example, working with your idol), even if it means contradicting your views.

It doesn't mean that what he says in his music is performative, it means that humans have many different desires that often conflict with each other and that reality is uncomfortable to think about. Artists are humans, not robots made for you and your views.

    so much pain

the flower boy/brockhampton impact on hip hop will be continued to be felt in our community for many more years to come

Literally was talking about this with a friend a day ago. It’s a fad to these people, flowerboy/indie-first fans need to f*** off from this genre and stop talking about s*** with zero depth/context

I’m with you I just think when you build some of your biggest career moments on stuff like this it will inevitably come back to bite you, not for any moral reasons because I don’t believe it’s about that as much as they say it is
