Most people dont, i understand for unofficial mixtapes sure but why we cant include wayne tapes while ppl usually include od s80 sfg iyrtltl etc
those were albums released as commercial mixtapes so they can be rated accordingly. a mixtape is a mixtape lmao
The distinction barely made sense to begin with but in the streaming era it might as well not even exist at all
commercial mixtapes yes. was always a stupid concept anyway
That will muddy the water .
Do whatever bro. Why should someone else decide how you rate things? Does your discography ratings matter to someone else but yourself?
I'm so sick of this place

bro is not the thinker
I can tell by the way most people talk about Wayne that they don’t include his mixtapes

Yes?
There's a reason Wayne is heralded as a GOAT to some
His mixtapes are better than niggas albums
I can tell by the way most people talk about Wayne that they don’t include his mixtapes
think it just depends lmao. people talk about Beast Mode and 56 Nights a lot, but niggas don’t talk about Dirty Sprite or Streetz Calling unless you talking to real Future fans even tho these are all classic future mixtapes. the first 2 were promoted commercially type s***. mixtapes can be used to argue the strength of a discography, but there has to be a level playing field in rankings and that’s official albums

It makes sense though since he wasn't as well-known & many folks (even big fans) don't tend to go back & check out full discographies. There's probably Kendrick fans who've never played Section.80 or Drake fans who never even played So Far Gone
I remember when the Jay-Z fan on here admitted they never listened to Reasonable Doubt before
Anybody who says no doesnt like hiphop
There's a lot of hip hop out there
Obviously it would be nice but maybe they haven't heard many/any of them (but obviously they shouldn't dictate the objective rules on something they don't have an understanding of, that'd be like letting privileged multi millionaires lead governments...
)
I'm sure there's folks who would swear by Wayne mixtapes who've never listened 100s of classic hip hop albums, we've all got catching up to do
