Alright so I know y'all have seen videos like this. Somebody taking money or clothes and handing it out while smiling into the camera and saying s*** like "I'm just trying to bless y'all today". How do y'all feel about this kind of stuff.

My boy was doing this stuff alot making YouTube videos about helping people. But after the second video people really started seeing how it was really only him trying to market is brand and stuff.

Me and my friends kinda confronted him about it and he got real defensive about it. Saying "how y'all gonna hate on someone doing something positive for people".

We tried to explain to him that everyone could tell it was not about doing something positive it was all about trying to make himself look good. But he just called us toxic and stopped talking to us for 2-3 days.

Just curious how y'all feel about this

doesn't change the outcome so who cares tbh atleast they chasing clout by doing a good thing

imo if you wanna do good you should not look for praise for doing so.

I’m on the fence with that. On one hand, a lot of people be looking for clout. On the other it might inspire others to do good deeds. But at the end of the day, long as people are getting help, it’s whatever. I’m sure the people receiving help doesn’t care.

I rather go the Jay-Z and Beyoncé route

Doing good deeds in private and not needing to tell everybody on social media how good of a person you are

Anyone doin that while recording does it for clout. I dont care what they say

who cares if the person giving is doing it for clout as long as the ppl who are receiving actually need help and get some.

im a firm believer that we deep down do everything we do because of selfish reasons anyway. the reason people give money to charity or homeless people is because in the end it makes them feel better about themselves. that doesnt negate the positive effect it has tho
