Meg’s numbers aren’t matching her endorsements. She’s a fake star.

    Sexy Red a Gamma Plant

Ice Spice the only one but we gotta see what the album like

Something about Megs mic presence seem too contrived. She overthinking it and trying to sound too saucy or something. Maybe she can rap better than Sexxy but she definitely doesn't make better songs. Afaict.

    let's talk about it.

what would she need to drop an actual "GREAT" album? What's she missing?

    1. She needs to study more flows and write lot more, because when I hear her freestyling, her rapping imo is stuck in one particular flow that only resonates with today's fans of rap instead including of past gens.

    2. I personally think she needs a executive producer/mentor who encourages her to do the things that I said in 1. Also an exec. prod can help make her albums flow well, plus they can make her albums more cohesive.

    3. Overall, just step up her creativity man.

Meg ? It’s not 2018. she’s like six albums in without a classic and I think the popularity already peaked. Not a contender.
Ice Spice and Sexyy Red don’t strike me as the sort of artists who stick around in the zeitgeist for very long but who knows. I get the sense that the longevity of Cole/drake/Kendrick is, in part, their ability to collaborate with others while retaining a strong vision of their artistic presentation. See that in ice spice or Sexyy red ? I don’t really.

yea the creativity ain't there. plus her albums always sound "of that time" and not in a good way. Traumazine came out two years ago and already sounds dated.

Plus the way her albums are structured are just too plain. Gotta have the street records, the club songs, pop songs, r&b songs... it's all very formulaic. But she's not the only one who structures her albums like this. a lot of rappers that came up with her have this structure.

Plus when she spits, she's going too hard then she needs to be.

Like this is not bad, but on beats like this, she needs to try a more laid back flow, and alter her rapping a bit.

yea she not versatile. this a problem that DaBaby had which is why we bunch these two together. they CAN rap but they've gotten locked into this one flow that really only works for one style of production

she’s musically ridged even if she’s technically good at rapping… sexyy red is just a damn natural at the lane she’s in
