both better than LR
thats just my personal opinion though
LR still legendary and a classic
i do think a lot of people were not going to like Ye regardless of what it was because of the maga hat
Ye as a whole grew on me tremendously the past year and the only song I don't go back to is Wouldn't Leave..when it first came out and months after I thought it was mid but I appreciate it for what it is now
some songs on JIK grew on me but the album as a whole not really quite yet..who knows tho bc I hated Yeezus from 2013 up until like 2016 and then it clicked and it's in my top 3 now
ye goes so hard in your feels
not like over a girl but when its depressive or existential is where ye comes to shine
808s is better for girl sadness tho
I brainwashed myself to realize Ye isnt nearly as solid as i thought it was, and JIK is way better than I first thought

Still never understand the hate of that song. That instrumental is the most unique and stand out one he has on that record. Glad you warmed up too it
Ye has some nice songs but JIK isnt bad just boring as f***. Which is probably worse than being a bad album
both better than LR
LR is a very consistent but lowkey Kanye album
There's less extraordinary highs on it compared to All Falls Down, Jesus Walks, CTMN, Flashing Lights, Heartless, DIAND, Power, Runaway etc. or even highs on ye/JIK like Ghost Town, Violent Crimes, Selah, God Is
It's just consistently very good to great, and none of the tracks are below the lows on JIK or ye, but ultimately it depends what you prefer out of an album
