Amazing albums. People just hate ye
Ye as a whole grew on me tremendously the past year and the only song I don't go back to is Wouldn't Leave..when it first came out and months after I thought it was mid but I appreciate it for what it is now
some songs on JIK grew on me but the album as a whole not really quite yet..who knows tho bc I hated Yeezus from 2013 up until like 2016 and then it clicked and it's in my top 3 now
look at this growth. and same
Most of people yes, not me certainly.
They are surely 2 of the 3 worst Kanye solo albums but they are not that bad. There are much not Kanye fans that love those albums. Kanye fans are just controlled by the hip hop fans opinions and cam't even have their own.
Kanye didn't care as much about JIK and Ye, so why should I.
He has made JIK shorter just to make it artsy, and he has made Ye just to stay true to his promise.
I love ye, it’s great. JIK grew on me, has good songs, but doesn’t resonate with me that much because of its content. And that’s okay, it’s still a good album.
both better than LR
will never understand why some people put LR on a lower pedestal than s*** like ye/JiK
Ye is just painfully average. Ghost Town is top 25 Kanye though
And JIK is below average, and even more hindered by the fact we know what Yandhi could’ve been, as well as him butchering songs that have better versions leaked such as Use This Gospel and Law of Attraction
LR is a very consistent but lowkey Kanye album
There's less extraordinary highs on it compared to All Falls Down, Jesus Walks, CTMN, Flashing Lights, Heartless, DIAND, Power, Runaway etc. or even highs on ye/JIK like Ghost Town, Violent Crimes, Selah, God Is
It's just consistently very good to great, and none of the tracks are below the lows on JIK or ye, but ultimately it depends what you prefer out of an album
LR has Gone, Crack Music, Diamonds, Touch the Sky, Addiction, Drive Slow.... they may not possess the same grandeur as some songs you mention but songs don't have to reach incredible levels of epic to be great. "Drive Slow" peak chill-ye. "Gone" is a masterclass in polyphony. "Crack Music" an amalgamation of what was so great about early Ye. Flipping a certain hip-hop motif (in this case political hip hop) and making it his own style with the choir and the haunting spoken word outro.
No i dont think so or im immune to the brainwashing technique because i thik JIK is a 9/10 album and one of Kanye's best projects
Ye on the other hand, yea don't really care for that project

You don't have to explain it to me I know they're great songs lol
I think Gold Digger is obviously there, and Touch The Sky would be close too
But for the most part the tracks fly under the radar
there's been a noticeable drop in quality with ye and JIK, I think fans are just being honest. the last minute rush to put together his albums for some random ass deadline he never meets doesn't help either.
that being said Kanye's worst albums are better than a lot of people's best albums, and I say that as someone who doesn't f*** with JIK
