You appreciate it cus he’s gotten a lot worse since
When you compare Views to everything after, Views a classic lmao
But you gotta be objective and realize it has a lot of damn good tracks ruined by a bunch of bloat
Most disappointing album of all time
This was suppose to be his magnum opus
Thankfully he rebounded with Her Loss
It was always better than what people give it credit for. I think he should have stuck to his original idea of taking the rap off tho.
I also think coming fresh off the Meek beef, when Drake hate really ramped up, that affected the narrative of the album.
I haven’t played it in a year and just ran it and this didn’t deserve the hate it got
Man shut up
Scorpion is a top 3 drake album
Yeah its 2016 AOTY
Keep The Family Close
Feel No Ways
Controlla
Fire & Desire
Those are the top tracks in rotation right now but literally every song on the album is a classic. A solid 9 or 10 depending on the mood. I really think that album is when Drake became the GOAT of his generation even taking NWTS and IYRTITL into account you could argue that he'd peaked but Views proved he was in that MJ and Beatles tier that no other rapper touched since Wayne. I feel bad for anyone who wasn't outside that summer
I think it’s his worst. CLB was just unmemorable. Views has a lot of corny bars, bad singing, and filler. Scorpion deserves more praise in his catalog imo
weston road flows goated is all I know
weston road flows I do this s*** for my nigga Renny
I remember when people would just s*** on this album just for the f*** of it and I always thought that s*** was corny AF because views is honestly drakes last best album were it actually felt like an album

I literally couldn't imagine the album without U With Me? or Views so I'm glad he kept the rapping. We got Honestly Nevermind if we want a singing album
