Selling well alone doesn’t make an album a classic
Awards alone doesn’t make an album a classic
Great production alone doesn’t make an album a classic
Great writing and storytelling alone doesn’t make an album a classic
A great concept alone does t make an album a classic
Relatability alone doest make an album a classicHaving all of these in one album makes it a great candidate with time to become a classic. And it’s literally impossible to deny that it checks all of Those marks.

DAMN. is more relatable for people around the world
DAMN. is structured in a more literary way than TPAB and it leaves room for interpretation, it's his most conceptual album and it implores the listener to contemplate the views shared on this album and how they relate to their own experiences on earth
Art is meant to challenge the listener and present new ideas. The fact that it has left people so divided is proof enough that the execution of the album accomplished its purposeGood points, based on MY experience people didn't like it because it had a more commercial sound which I think may have detracted from the overarching idea that the album was representing

Also DNA beat is completely wasted, listen to Wayne's version as he does it far more justice.
