Yeah the 2020 satire didn’t work for me at all. It could be cus it hasn’t been enough time but all the BLM stuff was wild cringe and I didn’t care for the Austin Butler side plot

Only s*** I liked was when Pedro got popped and how Joaquin inner racism came out.

I think he could’ve delivered the contradictions of both sides without the over the top mockery of 2020, it just didn’t seem clever to me. And like I said a big factor could be it not being enough time. Maybe if this movie got made in 2040 or something
