This movie just gained a powerful ally
https://twitter.com/thefilmstage/status/1996290515470295296there’s a reason why he’s saying this… truly a great film about the times we are in and what’s to come
It's brilliant. Your either on Eddingtons wavelength or your not ready for it.
type of movie that doesn’t get lauded until years later
you’re gonna see watch parties for this movie when the a.i bubble pops
@Jonboi saw the vision when others hated
Don't give me all the credit
Eddington hive grows stronger by the day
I still find this movie annoying af everytime I think about it but what better way to describe the current times?
Awesome movie but one day Joaquin gotta stop playing pathetic men with mommy issues
I been saying this it’s so played out
Play a motor mouth slick talking lady killer to switch it up every now and then, he’ll play in a comedy, SOMETHING DIFERENT
dude been playing damaged nut jobs for nearly 10 years now, dude used to be versatile
This been on my playlist for 2 weeks, is it worth it? Kinda burnt out on Joaquin phoenix whole “awkward weird guy” schtick he been doing the last 10 years or so
So much so I turned off beaux afraid about half an hour in, it was just too much of that
v good. also look up thename of the "company" after the movie. lol

That’s it I’m trying it this weekend
Had me in the first half ngl
What started out as an amusing little satire totally lost the plot right around when Pedro b**** slaps Joaquin and just turns into a nonsensical farce
I knew I was in trouble when I saw there was a whole hour left after he shot pedro
Finally rewatched this at home and glad I did, it's a solid flick and probably my favorite of his. Joaquin is so great, man. And him and Pedro were awesome together. They really didn't need to pay Emma Stone and especially Austin Butler lol. Like a lot of others have said in here, I prefer the slow build first half setting up the conflict and the mayor race and all that. Once things take a turn, it just becomes way too overstuffed.
Was the homeless guy supposed the a human personification of covid? Some of his ramblings made me think that was what they were going for
Before he got shot some of his rambling corroborated to that but hes not just that. He's a grieving dude looped into some dead ends no one cares to help him from
bro got a knife put in his dome and lived
nigga was a roasted green pepper after that
i s***ted on this movie without having watched it. it was a good movie, a lot going on in that middle 30min-1hr stretch i need to rewatch. very good film exceeded expectations for sure, enjoyed this far more than beau is afraid. Joaquin is a national treasure man lol smh he was a beast, despicable cowardly but a pure beast
