I always thought conservatives were about taking responsibility for their actions but they always end up blaming cancel culture for what happens to them. I guess they mean other people should accept consequences and not them.
I knew you had a good take in you
He’ll be fine & he’s absolutely exaggerating his financial circumstances to try to get sympathy and more money.
That said I don’t love the idea of just axing anyone for what he did which seems to just be political support. Obviously had he stormed the capitol it’s a different story, but this seems to be losing his job because of his political preferences and though I don’t agree with those preferences I don’t think he should be dropped solely based on them.
If u support a guy thats activly inciting violence, leading to 4 ppl dead
You absolutly should get dropped for that
mf voted for trump cuz he thought it was a vote against cancel culture
imagine having such a privileged position that you can justify voting someone as president for such a flippant reason
Everyone who voted trump was a protest vote on some level
Obviously. That doesn’t make it right tho.
A label dropping you just because you support somebody is wrong. Period.
If Republic did this to Wayne or KanYe got dropped by his label or adidas cut ties y’all wouldn’t be happy about it.
I wouldn’t give af, idc about trump supporters
But it’s not the same those are major labels, Mexican Summer is a indie label who is directly impacted by the fans and Ariel was dropped because he was bring negative heat their way with his actions, and small labels like that can’t handle that the same way a label like Republic can, plus Republic is so big there’s no way there can be a moral stance from the whole label while a label like Mexican Summer might choose to stand against Ariel’s stance because it’s probably only ran by a small team of people
“YOURE A RECORDING ARTIST AND CANT RECORD?!?!”
LOL Ariel has been a lazyass the past few years and talked about not recording any more albums. He's just been reissuing s***.
Sucks that I like this guy's music, he's been an a****** for years. Remember when he called Grimes ed?
I liked a few of his albums. Had no idea he was a Trump supporter and even if he was, because his music is not political, I wouldn’t have cared. But I can’t believe he went on Tucker Carlson... Must have been for a paycheck. But he isn’t going to be successful again.
It’s over for this guy. Tucker does not care about him at all. He just wants to use him to try to fit his own narrative.
Also... Never seen his actual face before. Why does he look like a gremlin

Can’t handle what? Negative attention? That label isn’t a household name and everyone on the label is a nobody. Including Ariel Pink. They aren’t going to bring an influx of negative press that’s gonna somehow tank the label. Theydef could have afforded to let dude stay on, but they chose to virtue signal.
Ironically they dropping him could lead to more negative heat from conservatives than if they would have just let him stay.

This was literally the worst possible decision to make. Plus with the allegations he has from his ex girl he is done.

oh no....not the conservative listeners!!
Lmao why can I hear that in his voice bro def got the same energy as the niggas who be running through the hallways of public places making airplane noises
LMAO
I said this in another thread but ion think he right in the head. I sent him a pretty lengthy email a long time ago for a interview and he just responded “yeah....maybe” and that was it. Bruh a lil off I think.
Sounds like an asswipe if im gonna be honest
Im not watching this Recently got into his music as well, its really good tbh. Imma just enjoy the music and ignore the bs
