Dude did countless things for the community and his family and friends but how he found Mr. Hyunh's daughter in like 2 days (with Helgas help) after he couldnt find her for 10 years was just crazy.

All that aside, one of the best episodes of a cartoon of all time and is why Hey Arnold was such a cool cartoon with actual depth. They dont make em like that no more.

this is a commentary on how immigrants dont have access to basic social services and that they can only be obtained by doing personal favors to the people in offices. he would probably have to pay up if it was adults going to that office

That's actually a very fair point too and one that kinda went over my head, but considering the other heavy themes that are explored in the cartoon, such as depression, child neglect, outcasts, etc it makes a lot of sense.

I found it too grounded in real life, I liked shows more like Edd, Ed, N Eddy where even though it was set IRL stuff was more fantastical, but I do agree that the heart in the ep in OP's post is something rare in kids' shows
