I grew up listening to Jadakiss. I bought The Last Kiss a few days after it came out and used to jam to it with a friend on top of his older albums.
I used to also post on SOHH and NikeTalk.com as a kid.
Never really heard much rap fans irl or hip hop forums refer to those Jada albums as bonafide classics. A lot of people liked them but if someone placed them alongside the likes of College Dropout, Blueprint, GRODT, Illmatic, etc. niggas would be stunned.
Still dope albums though.

Kiss tha Game is usally considered a rappers rapper classic and kiss of death is usually considered a classic, especially when talking to more east coast people.
But he was never gigantic outside of Lox albums, dmx/puffy collabs & kiss of death.
He's a huge inspiration to a lot of rappers tho. A "Rapper's rapper".

Even now, most hip hop heads will say Jada solo work is decent, respectable. However it’s a not a taking point when discussing him. It’s more about his rapping skills.

It’s also disappointing he didn’t not drop any music during the pandemic/George Floyd era. He was the perfect voice but didn’t decide to drop anything, I haven’t forgotten about that. Granted I'm from New York so Jadakiss praise isn't unheard of. But this is really the first time I'm seeing people say Jadakiss doesn't have a classic album. Growing up Kiss of Death and Kiss tha Game Goodbye were in heavy rotation lol

I'm from NJ but I also believe that not every good album is a classic.
I don't even consider American Gangster by Jay-Z to be a undisputed classic although I consider it an arguable classic album with some of his best rapping.
Imho, if I consider the Jada albums to be on the same level as Illmatic, AEOM, MBDTF, GKMC, GRODT, OB4CL, Doggystyle, etc. I'd really have to water down the definition of classic and I'm not down with that.
I still regard Jadakiss as a rapper's rapper and a legend of course but the man doesn't have an undisputed classic album and that's fine because it's not easy to create one at all. Lil Boosie is a god to many rap fans in the Deep South but I wouldn't say Boosie has a classic album either.
