He came up at the worst possible time, i dont think the general audience under trump wanted someone positive like Chance, then he doubled down on it with the wife s*** cuz in all honesty his album wasnt that much worse or better than any of his other projects imo

I dont think charli was ever “failing” she was signed way before fancy and boom clap, had a solid 2015 after and then started making music with the pc group all of which is considered classics to hyperpop fans and then Brat
