“they (charles hamilton and xv) should be as big as sean and wale” posted in the big 2025 unironically on page 1 also deserves some shine imo

Yea couldn’t make a hit though and that’s what made Cudi , Sean and Wale different from most (not all) of that class. Lotta those guys were just novelty during that time

Nah I can’t agree wit “couldn’t make a hit” he burned out and killed all his goodwill wit the labels and industry before he ever really got a chance. The talent was there.

Do I think he would’ve gon pop? Maybe not but he had potential to have a bigger fanbase and following.

  • Slot for here artist mentioned tho I don’t think we’re meant to have pop success. There is a a lot of middle ground between pop star and n”underground”.

What made him special was that he was a breath of fresh air during that time

His raw approach to making music and his career was something to see

    Same with kid ink

I think he got exactly what he was going for honestly. After TM3 I think his goal was reached. I think the era of “One train” would’ve been his pocket to be like a mega star. His whole marriage thing probably had a lot to do with his music direction too. Idk I think he made it and moved on from my perspective.
