Anyways... artists that seemed to have potential to blow up and be consistently successful but just didnt pan out as planned?

Chance? He didn’t become what people thought he’d be after a good start to his career
Don’t really know if he counts though
Charles Hamilton
XV
are the main two for me
They should be as big as Sean & Wale at least at this point
Was jazz cartier really up next or was his song just played after a Ye song on soundcloud
I could also be thinking of someone else lol
Tink is very consistent, hardworking and successful for her level so not taking anything from her
but the way that whole Timbo situation worked out her hype was insane
I want to know which label execs decided to pump money and bots into Charli XCX's failing career and why

He came up at the worst possible time, i dont think the general audience under trump wanted someone positive like Chance, then he doubled down on it with the wife s*** cuz in all honesty his album wasnt that much worse or better than any of his other projects imo
jazz cartier
88glam
to be fair 88glam broke up and sadly they failed going solo

I dont think charli was ever “failing” she was signed way before fancy and boom clap, had a solid 2015 after and then started making music with the pc group all of which is considered classics to hyperpop fans and then Brat

There was actually a crazy amount of hype around jazz Cartier back in 2015/2016
