I hated that 21 song so much when I first heard it lmao
But that's his best song
I hated that 21 song so much when I first heard it lmao
I still hate That rockstar Song. Love 21 tho
I was always into rap but for some reason never listened to a lot of classics. It was weird.
I didn’t dislike them but never gave jay, nas, wayne etc a real chance other than their mainstream hits. Probably because I didn’t know how to download music back then.
But wow the first illmatic listen was
Uzi
J. Cole when he dropped Work Out.
Young Thug
Any R&B artist that didn't make PND, 6lack, Saint JHN type music.
Used to Hate Tyler’s Whole wave and collective back in the day. Thought it was some Pseudo Edgelord s*** that was for people who liked to plank
Now I love Tyler including all his old s***. I was just a hater lol
Nav last year improved at everything
wild cause nav's best work is his early stuff
first time i hear partynextdoor was like couple months later i understood the wave looking back i wanna slap my younger self for my basic taste
In 2012 when Frank Ocean came out as Bi-Sexual everyone who listened to him in Church they deleted all his music and i didnt even know who he was so i started getting on the train and cancel him before knowing anything. :
Fast foward 2016 no more homophobic bullshit and being in KTT hyping up Frank releasing Endless. I listened to Nostalgia Ultra and Channel Orange for the first time and hated both.
Didnt like the sound at that time.
Then Endless dropped and I thought maybe i like this one. And WOW Endless was a crazy experience. I just loved the Art Gallery vibe of it because at that time i visited a lot of them.
Next day Blonde and KTT exploded i didnt know what was happening and said ok let me listen to that too. First listen Blonde well it was ok.
Then i only listened to that Album for about 2 or 3 weeks and it completly consumed me Wow.
It litterally made me date Women.
Listened back to Nostalgia Ultra, still dont like it... Channel Orange though... A Masterpiece.
Sierra Leone is my favorite Frank song of all time. I might even say i love OC almost more than Blonde depending on the mood.
So yeah i went from hating due to homophobia to that Man litterelly made me pursure romantic relationships with women.
I am grateful for that but sometimes i hate that i had to experience some dissapoiniting moments but the growth in my life due to that Album is undeniable.
Well now i own the Boys dont Cry Magazine and a Black Blonde shirt and gave away a Prep+ shirt on the Frank Discord.
Frank is a Goat.
I used to dislike Kid Cudi. Said some disrespectful things about him. Now I know he's GOAT
I disliked Drake up until Take Care, turned into a stan til Views. Still like him, just not in stan mode anymore.
I'm in for the occasional Drake hit but I'm not a fan anymore
thugger at first back then but barter 6 changed me
young thug.. when he tried to take Wayne's place.. that was really disrespectful to me.. over the years I've grown to respect him tho
actually in 2011 when asap rocky first came out all the hipster kids at my school that i hated where posting his s*** on facebook and i was like w/e f*** this and then i actually listened to him a few months later and now hes literally my favourite artist lmao
