Playboi Carti, Uzi, Young Thug
I had never really listened to their music and just assumed they werent good cause i had that "mumble rap = crap" mentality back then
So glad i came to the light
Didn’t f*** with Thug initially back in 2013/14 but now he’s easily one of my favorite artists
Never liked durk back in 2011-2013 minus a couple of good songs but for like the past 4 years hes been one of my favorite rappers
Don't think I've come around on any artists I didn't initially like in the last few years
Chance voice used to be so grating to me, I warm up to it on coloring book but acid rap was unbearable then I eventually warm up to it in general.

Damn you missed out on golden era thug
Hearing Danny glover for the first time was crazy
think I was too lazy at the time to try and get into kendrick, but, his albums clicked for me in the past year +
i loved kendrick till i found out abt how immensely overrated he is within the hip hop community
So you care so much about what people think you let them ruin the enjoyment for you
I still don’t much care for Billy Corgan but I like the Smashing Pumpkins now more than I used to.
Nav and Trippie Redd
I used to dislike Kid Cudi. Said some disrespectful things about him. Now I know he's GOAT
Oh that was a big one for me
Honestly I didn’t like cudder until project x dropped smh
I never really disliked artists music but there are a couple of artists I just decided to dislike without hearing songs bc of certain styles of hyping them — then I listened and loved them
Isaiah Rashad is one, Lil Baby is another
I wasn’t into Drake until 2013
I was kinda philosophically opposed to “mumble rap” at first (although I loved Thug, Uzi from the first songs heard) — thinking Yachty was one of the four horsemen of the lyrical apocalypse —but honestly never really disliked the music and grew to associate, say, “One Night” or “Broccoli” with going to parties + chatting up girls (a positive)
Hm who else
I didn’t like that DaBaby’s name was so close to Lil Baby (who I had grown to love) but now f***s with both ofc
I kinda disliked Vic Mensa cause I was a huge acid rap chance fan and thought he had so much talent he was gonna overshadow chance (lol)
Just stupid reasons honestly
