Method Man and Jadakiss are prime examples of this to me.
Extremely amazing rappers, will blaze damn near any track but just never quite deliver with fully fleshed out albums

Their albums did what they were supposed to do when they were relevant.
I was too young but my older brother and his friends were really into Tical by Method Man. And that Jadakiss album with "we gon make it" was hit

dark sky paradise had a pretty big percentage of grest songs to not so great and i still enjoy hall of fame sometimes

A good chunk of house artists that I like imo. It's pretty rare to see a classic house album instead of EP's or classic singles.
There's a lot of genres that don't translate very well into full-fledged album-making in general.

I really only like Dark Sky Paradise. I still have hope Sean will drop a serious classic maybe something on the level of Barter 6 or FHD. It doesn't have to be a genre defining album but something to say he got one before he gets too old.
