sure he name dropped and wore all those brands before rocky but he def wasn’t influencing other rappers to do the same.. he did it first, but rocky the reason why everyone else did it

His focus isnt on music and it shows. So it doesn’t matter if he decided to be a label slave instead. If your heart isn’t in the music, it will lose its appeal.

pop rocky in 2013 was something else.. felt like asap mob was so big. getting compared to drake and kendrick.

that was his real moment. people seem to forget hes a decade into his career now

Huge ye stan and i totally agree with everything youre saying.

Rocky was the most successful person to really pull a ton from kanye but to not be super derivative about it. In that way, he was a bridge from ye being 1000 years ahead, rocky was maybe 500. Really was like an easier to digest version of the same creative ethos behind what ye was doing in that time frame.

Definitely came in with a completely fresh everything and paid homage big time.
