I’ll say this as a 19 year old black male from the hood who got enough scholarships to go to a high class high school for a year before I got put out.

Asian kids specifically really rocked with me. Not on some phony s***, but really rocked with me. They were the only ones who went out they way to tell me why exactly they wouldn’t bring me around they family. And I could tell it was something they wasn’t happy with. I respected that.

My hope is that by the time my generation reaches where millennials are now, we not having these discussions no more.
