Section 80 is an album not a mixtape. It’s just not a major label album, as GKMC was his major debut.

Next Kendrick album cycle, I do think we’ll start to see more appreciation for MM&TBS overall. Never gonna get the same recognition as it’s predecessors and will always probably be a bit of a black sheep like Yeezus, but it will be more understood as time goes on.

i think even if someone isn’t a fan they have to acknowledge CD, Grad, 808s, MBDTF, and at least either yeezus or TLOP as classics whether for quality, musical impact, or cultural impact
