They could have made a cool black protagonist in so many other ways; but they chose the one that would generate the most controversy and piss the most people off. I hate how straight up evil most of these companies are ... Even racism and social divides are instrumentalized to sell products.

I feel you to a degree but folks have to realize that AC is like a nearly 20 years old franchise (which I'm sure you know, just saying) and it has had to evolve and stay with current trends of gaming. Some of the things over the years are better than others but that's what game development is about. Change and evolving. Some studios do it better than others obviously.

Need to replay Unity. Still haven’t played any of the last three though.
